It's been a long time.. I used to run www.tragichairfalls.com, but I have been super busy with work and school, so I haven't really been making falls much anymore.. I am getting rid of the last of my stock. I'd like to sell it as a lot, by will sell off indiviual pieces. Paypal or money order. I have feedback on ebay under : xsynthetic_obsessionx. Shortening dreads?
Has anyone ever had any success cutting synth dreads down to a shorter length and resealing them? I have a set I made some years ago. They were extra long and holy crap, they were TOO long! Past my butt, and I spent the whole time I had them in worrying about what germs they were picking up. So they've just been sitting around ever since. I now want to do an a-line installation, and am curious if I can repurpose these dreads. Any suggestions for cutting them off and still recreating that classic tapered end? Any other suggestions? |

I have a question, please help!
 I'm dying to find a wig that looks like the above. Even if I could just have the name of this hairstyle (I'm getting that it's a bob, but this is a specific kind I'd imagine) it would be helpful! I don't know much about hair or wigs, but any sort of help would be greatly appreciate! Thank you! |

Dreads, weft clips, and hair that's too short :(
So.... I cut my hair. It's not too short for pigtails, but pretty short nonetheless. I can no longer make buns big/strong enough to support dread falls. I was wondering if anyone had any experience with attaching dreadfalls to short hair. I figured I could sew them to weft clips but the only clips I can find are only big enough for one dread. That's a lot of freakin weft clips people, hah. Anybody got any ideas? I'd appreciate the help! |

Just thought I'd share my second dread wig. This was made for a production of Rocky Horror through my theater department at my college. Some of the dreads are loose, I was losing patience with it and I'm not even going to be able to keep it when its all said and done. That and I did the whole thing in about 5 hours and I was ready to go home. But any tips or opinions would be great! ( Pics under the cut ) |
